Our trainees were able to learn in several specialist workshops during this year’s Energy Scouts training course at the South Westphalian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Hagen, where energy and resources are used in the company, what weaknesses there are and how they are identified. The long-term goal is the development of a climate-neutral production company. For instance, the chip extraction, which otherwise runs continuously, or the heating stamp only run for 16 hours instead of 24 hours. Due to the lower base load consumption and the capacity that has been released, every kWh is now used more efficiently.
