For the first time, minimal-invasive image-guided spine surgery training is easy, cost-effective and safe. Trainees can learn Minimally Invasive Spine Surgical (MISS) techniques with extremely realistic simulated medical imaging in a safe environment, within a short period of time. PVC is used as a tissue imitation, modified to have similar properties as human tissue. This was done using different kinds of additives.
