Pipelife’s fossil-free piping solution is characterised by the fact that there is now plastic raw material produced from renewable biomass. This biomass is a tree-based waste product from the paper industry rather than the traditional ethylene from fossil oil refining. Pipelife is the first player in Norway with a fossil-free pipe solution, with the product on the market since June 2021. We have also delivered a project with Asker municipality. In the next few years, Norway will have to make major investments in infrastructure in the water, sewage and the electricity grids. We have worked to ensure that the pipe solutions that the public and private sectors use for the future can be as sustainable as possible.
