TPV Compound has set itself the goal of improving the intrinsic smoke classification of its U-PVC compounds used for furniture profiles intended for healthcare facilities, such as safety barriers and bumpers as well as bed protectors. The new formulation has obtained the European Bs2d0 fire classification. Nevertheless, the company considered this as an interim result. The project is still ongoing and the new target is to meet the most severe smoke classification: class s1.
