VinylPlus has completed Phase 1 of its 2030 Commitment to carbon neutrality, marking a major step in the European PVC value chain. A study using verified data across six key product categories – pipes, cables, window profiles, membranes, sheets and flooring – sets an industry-first environmental baseline. It highlights raw material production as the largest contributor to emissions and water use. Verified by the independent product testers TÜV Rheinland, this Life Cycle Assessment lays the groundwork for Phase 2—modelling impact reductions through recycling, renewables and sustainable materials.
