At Colchester Hospital’s new Elective Orthopaedic Centre in England, over 8,000 m² of Polyflor vinyl flooring was installed with circularity in mind. Westcotes Flooring contractors recycled 2.5 tonnes of offcuts through Recofloor, cutting nearly 3 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. With Polyflor’s Palettone flooring containing 25% recycled content and being 100% recyclable, sustainability was embedded from spec to site. The flooring also boasts a low carbon footprint, supported by its Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and aligned with BREEAM’s “Excellent” sustainability rating.
