RENOLIT created a reinforced pool membrane for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games made with 50% recycled content. With a virgin PVC top layer, 100% recycled PVC bottom layer, and a polyester mesh core. Post-event, the membranes were recovered, sanitised and recycled for reuse. Compared to 2019’s 8-10% recycled content, this version marks a tenfold leap. Improved recycling tech, traceability systems, and RECICLASS certification ensure consistent quality while slashing CO₂ emissions—delivering sustainable, high-performance vinyl for a greener future.
