
Richard Thommeret
Richard Thommeret is driven by a passion for innovation and is dedicated to communicating science and chemistry to broader audiences. With over 30 years of experience in the plastics industry—spanning roles from Strategic Marketing to Communication and Group spokesperson for Science & Innovation at Solvay—he managed the partnership between Solvay and the Solar Impulse Foundation. In addition to his industry work, he teaches at the University La Cambre (ULB), where he mentors future industrial designers and interior architects. Richard is also the author of two books and a frequent speaker at international events, including TEDx, where he shares insights on sustainability, innovation, and the future of materials.

Elisa Storace
Elisa Storace is a curator and cultural planner with over 20 years of experience in museology and design. Since 2008, she has led the Kartell Museum, curating exhibitions and educational programs while preserving the company’s industrial heritage, particularly its use of plastics. She co-authored Kartell: The Culture of Plastics and has made over 8,000 design objects accessible through archival initiatives. Storace has curated international exhibitions and collaborated with major institutions worldwide. A strong advocate for Italian design, she was named Italian Design Day Ambassador in 2019 and is a founding member of the Plastics Heritage European Association.

Dr. Jason Leadbitter
Dr. Jason Leadbitter is a retired Sustainability Manager from INEOS Inovyn with over 35 years of experience in the European PVC industry, focusing on sustainability and corporate social responsibility. He has held key leadership roles, including Chair of the British Plastics Federation’s Sustainability Committee and the VinylPlus Circular Vinyls Committee. In recognition of his contributions, he received the BPF Gold Medal in 2013. A prolific author, he has written extensively on plastics and co-authored chapters in an upcoming PVC handbook. His final official role was chairing the PVC 2024 conference in Edinburgh.

Miguel Angel Prieto Arranz
Miguel Angel Prieto Arranz is Director of Specialty Chemicals at Cefic, where he leads the 'Food & Feed' and 'Plastic Additives' clusters. He joined Cefic in 2012 as Manager of the 'Food Contact Additives' Sector Group and has since played a key role in shaping policy and regulatory strategies. A trained chemist, Miguel brings over 15 years of experience in food and chemicals legislation, gained through his work with industry associations in Brussels. Earlier in his career, he was involved in various R&D projects in Germany, contributing to scientific innovation before transitioning into regulatory affairs.
