CO₂ptiMat is a German publicly funded project of the Meraxis Group, creating a Saas solution (Software as a service) for polymer converters to calculate cradle-to-gate Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) based on primary data. It aims to optimise PCFs by increasing the usage of low-carbon polymers, especially recyclates. The tool allows direct data entry or integration with IT systems like ERP or EMS to import production orders or time series data of energy usage. The project involves various key partners and is set to be completed in 2026.
