Decathlon and Benvic are giving new life to PVC with the Bed2Boots solution, transforming airbeds into sustainable shoe soles. Benvic’s formulation expertise makes a material initially designed for calendaring suitable for injection-moulding with viscosity adaptation. Benvic also ensured compliance with REACH regulations and Decathlon’s own toxicology requirements. A scale up is now engaged by Decathlon to include this into larger product ranges.
