RENOLIT ALKORPLAN recycled 11,000 square meters of PVC – nearly 2 football fields’ worth – when it replaced the roof of an exhibition centre in Tampere, Finland. That saved 97% of CO₂ emissions compared to incineration, which would have been one-third more costly. The project, in collaboration with Suomen Teollisuuskatot Oy and Ekopartnerit Turku Oy, turned the old roofing into new construction materials, showcasing the environmental and economic benefits of recycling PVC.
