This University of Birmingham research project is repurposing PVC waste into limestone-calcined clay cement. By incorporating both soft and hard PVC waste from wire coatings and water pipes, the study aims to enhance thermal insulation, improve impact resistance, and shrink the carbon footprint. With the potential to reduce landfill waste and decrease CO₂ emissions, industrial sponsors and partners are sought to scale up this project for a greener future.
