Building on its reputation for roofs with vegetation and solar panels, and roofing for airports and stadiums, Soprema developed a metallic fire barrier with a PVC backsheet directly welded onto PVC waterproofing membranes. Designed for roof perimeters and skylights, it meets French fire regulations while preventing fire spread. Unlike older glued glass fibre solutions prone to wear and detachment, this design integrates an aluminium foil and internal geotextile for superior durability. Already in market use, it boosts safety and longevity in vinyl roofing.
