Deceuninck can now make PVC profiles with continuous reinforced glass fibre using recycled scrap from its original application. Having invested in a new recycling company, it can crush, shred, filter and granulate the used profiles. It also developed extrusion tools to co-extrude the recycled material into the core of a new profile. The aim is not only to recycle, but to add improved mechanical characteristics.
