Using PVC composite with high mineral content, Profialis has developed hybrid PVC/aluminium window frames that can be drilled and welded. The aluminium provides the rigidity and appearance, while the PVC provides thermal and acoustic insulation. The PVC composite reinforcement avoids thermal expansion of PVC, following the same dilation rate as aluminium.
